4.16. Choose your splash screens (customization)

4.16.1. Description

What it does: This function lets you personalize your splash screens.

Click on to change the images or to return to the default image.

The splash screens appear every time your outersite CD or software is launched or closed. The display time of the splash screen will very, depending on the size of your outersite, the user's computer and the format of your outersite (an outersite software is faster to launch).

  • SGI images (*.bw, *.rgb, *.rgba, *.sgi)

  • Autodesk images files (*.cel; *.pic)

  • Truevision images (*.tga; *.vst; *.icb; *.vda; *.win)

  • ZSoft Paintbrush images (*.pcx, *.pcc)

  • Word 5.x screen capture files (*.scr)

  • Kodak Photo-CD images (*.pcd)

  • Portable pixel/gray map images (*.ppm, *.pgm, *.pbm)

  • Dr. Halo images (*.cut, *.pal)

  • CompuServe images (*.gif)

  • JPEG Images (*.jpg)

  • SGI Wavefront images (*.rla, *.rpf)

  • Standard Windows bitmap images (*.bmp, *.rle, *.dib)

  • Photoshop images (*.psd, *.pdd)

  • Paintshop Pro images (*.psp)

  • Portable network graphic images (*.png)

[Professional Edition]: You can also use Flash animations (*.swf) for your splash screens.
