Welcome to the OutSite-In help.
To guide you in using the software, you'll find tutorials, a video, a general description of each screen and detailed descriptions of each of the software's functions.
The site www.outsite-in.com has an FAQ and forums for any other questions you may have.
This help file has not been completely updated yet to correspond to the new v.2.1. The new features like the "launch and manipulate" button or the port choosing option are included. If you have questions you can always contact us at : Contact Outsite-In. The updated help file will be published as soon as possible.

The OutSite-In software will transform your website into an outersite, an independent site off-line that remains dynamic. It even lets you create backups of your internet sites.
OutSite-In lets you create different projects. A project is associated with a website or a part of a website.
A project will store the data that you will import from your website:
You can modify the files copied and modify the data imported.
The options tab lets you modify the settings for your site off-line.
The copied elements and settings in your OutSite-In project are used to:
generate your outersite
create a backup file of your site
You can also preview your site off-line using OutSite-In.
There are two ways to generate your outersite: generate as a software.
The files saved (*.oib) will
open with OutSite-In to let you reread the archive just as it would appear
on-line on a web server.
The files and data included in an OutSite-In project can be exported at any time, to be restored on a server for example.
When displaying an outersite or by launching « preview » you will be using SilAMP, our AMP (Apache, MySQL, PHP) silent distribution manager. SilAMP, Apache, PHP and MySQL are integrated in all your outersites.
