How to remove absolute paths from the imported files ?

To create your outersite that works properly you have to clean up remaining absolute paths in your PHP/HTML pages.

To do this, you can use the "search in files..." feature of any advanced text editor (like EditPlus or PSPad for instance). Search for the string « HREF="http://www.mysite.com" » in your imported files directory, located in "OutSite-In\OpenedProject\source\files" (generally in the "Program Files" directory).

It is then simple to replace absolute paths by relative ones.

If you often make outersites of the same web site, we suggest that you modify your online website so that it does not contain any absolute path. That way, you won't have to make changes to the imported files each time you make an outersite!
